• Always abide by the minimum landing sizes as recommended by the NFSA.
• Try only taking fish well above the size limit.
• Never fish within designated Nursery Areas – It is illegal, so ensure you know the boundaries.
• Conservation works, so do return undersize fish of fish you do not want whatever the size may be.
• Try and encourage the use of a points system within competitions.

If possible avoid taking dead fish to the scales just to determine heaviest bags. (NFSA)
